Introduction to bitless horsemanship demo & lessons

Saturday, 14 April 2012 at 10:00 until Sunday, 15 April 2012 at 18:00

Intouch Equestrian, Richhill

A 2 day introduction to bitless riding and groundwork for all who ride bitless, or have an interest in bitless riding.

The first day will consist of a demonstration of bitless horsemanship, from groundwork exercises to get your horse use to yeilding off nose pressure correctly, to flatwork riding and jumping. The aim of the demo is to show people how to introduce bitless riding to their horse, with the emphasis on creating a light, responsive and easy to ride horse. Exercises and techniques will be demonstrated in a way that is straighforward for both horse and rider, creating a confident partnership between both.

Hopefully i will also have a volunteer to ride their horse bitless at the demo, to show just how easy it is.

The second day will consist of private or semi private lessons, on your own horse or on one of our trained bitless horses. These lessons are open to everyone, of all abilities, and will help riders transition their own horse confidently to bitless riding. Or, if riding our horses, will give you a taster of what its all about.

You are welcome to attend both days, or just one day.

Spectators are £10 both days, and private lesson will be £20 each, and semi private lesson will be £15 each.
