Jenny & Mark Pitman Racing Club
Jenny Pitman OBE is acclaimed as one of the greatest female trainers in the history of racing.
She trained the winners of the 1983 Grand National with ‘Corbiere’ and the 1995 Grand National with ‘Royal Athlete’, as well as three Welsh Nationals, the Scottish National and the Irish National.
Jenny also trained two Cheltenham Gold Cup winners, the winners of the King George VI Gold Cup, the Hennessy Gold Cup and the Welsh Champion hurdle.
Mark Pitman won over 300 races as a jockey. He was leading jockey at the prestigious Aintree Festival and trained ‘Smarty’ to finish 2nd in the 2001 Grand National. As a trainer, Mark won over 220 races, many at the highest level.
