Chalets
Conforming to Ministry regulations and designed for hygiene, comfort and safety, the chalets are spacious with heated beds, night lights and background music.
The building itself is centrally heated and well insulated, therefore the chalets are warm in winter and cool in summer. We also have an air purification system to prevent the spread of infection.
Each chalet is suitable for one or two cats sharing (from the same family). We also have senior suites, kitten pads, and larger quarters to acommodate families of three or more cats sharing. Covered outside runs are also available for exercise.
Bedding
We provide hooded or open beds with duvets and vet fleece, however if your cat has its own bed or blanket, or even a familiar smelling garment please feel welcome to bring these along to help your cat settle during its stay.
Toys and Play
Toys and scratch poles are provided. Our feline guests are given lots of love, care, fun and games. With a warm cosy bed and good food they quickly settle into cattery life and therefore go home, relaxed and happy from their holiday.
Security and Safety
Inspections of the cattery are welcome however, visitors are always accompanied. The Cattery is secure with external caging to prevent any cats exploring outside. It is also locked and meets all fire regulations. Pat lives on the premises and therefore the cattery is supervised 24/7.

Food and Medication
The Cattery kitchen is fully equipped, and stocked with a wide variety of wet, dry and fresh food. You will be asked for feeding preferences at the time of booking. Cats are fed a fully balanced diet. or their usual food choice.
Special or prescribed diets can be fed by arrangement. These should be provided by you and should be brought on arrival. With prior agreement we are happy to accept cats who require special attention, diets, or who are receiving medication including diabetic cats. All medication must be brought on admission.
Insurance and License
The cattery is fully licensed by DARD and insured by Cliverton Pet Insurance. Veterinary fees are covered if an illnesss or accident should occur during your cat's stay and can extend for up to 72 hours after going home. Pre-existing conditions are excluded and any vets fees incurred will be charged. We will try where possible to use your vet, if not local vets provide 24/7 service to the Cattery.
Vacinations:
All cats must be vaccinated and up to date certificate produced on arrival. We reserve the right to refuse admission if your cat is showing any signs of illness. We also recommend that your cat should be treated with a topical veterinary flea treatment prior to boarding, which will protect not only themselves but also fellow boarders and the environment.
About Us
The Cats Inn is owned and managed by Mrs. Pat Smyth who has many years of experience caring for cats and animal husbandry. Pat is also involved with local animal welfare charities and has experience in dealing with animal behavioural problems, cruelty cases and rehoming unwanted animals.
Pat very much enjoys her work and ensures all cats receive individual attention during their stay. The cattery has many repeat visitors and the large number of postcards and christmas cards reflect the satisfaction of all customers.

Single cat £6.00 per night to include daily care, food, heating and insurance etc
Boarding rates are charged on a nightly basis, cats going home after 12 noon will be charged for that day. Discounts are available for two cats sharing from the same family. Quotations can be provided for families or long term boarding.
.Opening Hours..................
Admission and collection times will be confirmed at the time of booking. To enable the efficient running of the Cattery, you are asked to be punctual or notify us of any changes. We would please ask that you give the Cattery as much notice as possible should cancellation be necessary.
Travel
We would recommend that cats be brought into the cattery in a strong pet carrier securely fastened and lined with newspaper. If you cat suffers from car sickness it would be best to avoiding feeding before the journey.
Taxi: For your convenience, the Cats Inn have their own special taxi service where cats can be collected and delivered for a small extra charge.

Please feel welcome to make an appointment and view the cattery so that while you are on holiday you feel content your cat is enjoying a holiday too.
We recommend you book well in advance especially during peak periods to avoid disappointment.
